The CADAL (China Academic Digital Associative Library) is a cooperated project of universities and institutes in China and foreign countries, which originated from the China-US Million Book Digital Library Project, and the objective is to create a free-to-read searchable collection of million books available to everyone over the internet. After more than 10 years construction, CADAL is now recognized as one of the largest and most significant academic digital libraries with more than 6 million volumes digital bookings covering almost all subjects.
