Résumé
This image shows the room built to hold the seismological station OG02 of the Résif-RLBP-Rap network. This station is located in the municipality of Monetier-Morneix (Haute-Savoie). It is located on the former site of the historic station OG02 of the SISMALP network. In 2011, as part of the INTERREG RISE project, the site was completely modernised, including the construction of this shelter to house the seismological station. The electrical and telephone networks (ADSL communication) were also set up underground on this occasion. Finally, the seismological equipment has also been modernized with the deployment of a "recent" seismological station allowing continuous recording with real-time broadcasting of ground movements. Two sensors equip this site, a broadband velocimeter offering high sensitivity (measurement of small movements), and an accelerometer (measurement of strong ground movements without saturation).
This observation site is part of the French seismological and geodetic network Résif, a national research infrastructure dedicated to the observation and understanding of the structure and dynamics of the Internal Earth. Résif is based on high-tech observation networks, composed of seismological, geodetic and gravimetric instruments deployed in a dense manner throughout France. The data collected make it possible to study with high spatial and temporal resolution the deformation of the ground, surface and deep structures, seismicity on a local and global scale and natural hazards, and more particularly seismic events, on French territory. Résif is part of the European (EPOS - European Plate Observing System) and global systems of instruments used to image the Earth's interior as a whole and to study many natural phenomena.
Cette image présente le local construit pour accueillir la station sismologique OG02 du réseau Résif-RLBP-Rap. Cette station est installée sur la commune de Monetier-Morneix (Haute-Savoie). Elle est implantée sur l’ancien site de la station historique OG02 du réseau SISMALP. En 2011, dans le cadre du projet INTERREG RISE, le site a été complètement modernisé, avec notamment la construction de cet abris destiné à l’hébergement de la station sismologique. Les réseaux électriques et téléphonique (communication ADSL) ont également été mis en place en sous-terrain à cette occasion. Enfin l’équipement sismologique a également été modernisé avec le déploiement d’une station sismologique « récente » permettant l’enregistrement en continu avec diffusion en temps réel des mouvements du sol. Deux capteurs équipent ce site, un vélocimètre large-bande offrant une grande sensibilité (mesure des petits mouvements), et un accéléromètre (mesure des mouvements forts du sol sans saturation).
La station est intégrée au Réseau sismologique et géodésique français Résif, une infrastructure de recherche nationale dédiée à l’observation et la compréhension de la structure et de la dynamique Terre interne. Résif se base sur des réseaux d’observation de haut niveau technologique, composés d’instruments sismologiques, géodésiques et gravimétriques déployés de manière dense sur tout le territoire français. Les données recueillies permettent d’étudier avec une haute résolution spatio-temporelle la déformation du sol, les structures superficielles et profondes, la sismicité à l’échelle locale et globale et les aléas naturels, et plus particulièrement sismiques, sur le territoire français. Résif s’intègre aux dispositifs européens (EPOS - European Plate Observing System) et mondiaux d’instruments permettant d’imager l’intérieur de la Terre dans sa globalité et d’étudier de nombreux phénomènes naturels.
