The poster was published by the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on 6 November 1986 on the occasion of the commemoration of the death of the iranian calligrapher, Reza Mafi. Top left is the logo of the Ministry of culture and islamic guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran. On the right, the caption says : “on the occasion of the commemoration of the death of master Reza Mafi.

L’affiche fut publiée le 6 novembre 1986 par le Musée d’art contemporain à l’occasion de la commémoration du quarantième jour du décès du calligraphe iranien Reza Mafi. En haut à gauche figurent le logo de la République Islamique d’Iran et du ministère de l’orientation islamique. À droite est écrit : « à l’occasion du quarantième jour du décès de maître Reza Mafi ». L’adresse du musée et la date figurent en bas à gauche de l’affiche.
