This is a reproduction of the death of Ali al-Akbar ibn Husayn, son of the third shia Imam, Husayn ibn Ali. The father cries over his son, next to a red flag that says “ Allah-o akbar ”. The sentences from top to bottom respectively say : “ Peace on you ô Husayn ibn Ali ” and “ Peace on you Ali son of Husayn. Ô Great Ali.”

L’affiche reproduit la scène de la mort d’Ali al-Akbar ibn Husayn, fils de Husayn ibn Ali, troisième imam chiite. Le père pleure son agonie avec le drapeau rouge où est écrit « Allah-o akbar ». Les textes en haut et en bas de l’affiche peuvent être respectivement traduits par « Salut à toi ô Husayn ibn Ali » et « Salut à toi Ali fils de Husayn. Ô Ali Akbar. »
