L'affiche fait la promotion d'une exposition de photographies intitulée « Le Clergé combattant, les fervents du chemin de Dieu, de la justice, de la liberté » qui s'est déroulée à la Maison de la culture de Niyâvarân. Elle reproduit une photographie ancienne de l’époque de la dynastie Kadjar (donc sans doute autour des années 1920) montrant deux religieux dissidents enchaînés et un soldat armé debout derrière eux.
