Human Physical Guidance by a Tethered Aerial Vehicle

Résumé

In this video we show the experimental result of our work about physical Human Robot Interaction (pHRI) with aerial robots. In particular we consider a human holding hand handle, in turn attached to an aerial vehicle through a cable. For this system, we designed a compliant controller that allows safe physical interaction with the human. In these video we show how the robot is able to pull the human toward a desired position (or along a path) only using forces as an indirect communication-channel.
